Viscosity optimisation of photosensitive al2o3 slurry for stereolithography based additive manufacturing

Viscosity of alumina slurry is a key factor affecting the quality ceramics formed by stereo photolithography, but it closely related to resin distribution ratio, dispersant content, plasticizer content and solid content. Most researchers utilize single method study composition ratio slurry. In this study, orthogonal experimental design back propagation artificial neural networks methods were combined solve optimisation problem multi-objective multi-factor influence on performances. The results optimal allocation achieved testing. It was shown that conditions are: HDDA : PPTTA = 4 1, DS-165A 3.86wt.%, PEG plasticiser amount 3.5wt.% 75.74wt.%. predicted viscosity value 8787mPa?s shrinkage rate could reach 14.57%. values consistent with results, errors only 4.06% 3.856%, respectively. average density bending strength sintered samples 3.979 ? 0.005 g/cm3 365 61MPa, According obtained data, stereolithography 3D printing excellent flowability low successfully prepared.
